Of the Grande Ecole Program

Founded in 1949 and located in the very heart of Paris by the Eiffel Tower, the ESLSCA Business School’s Grande Ecole Program presents exceptional assets for higher management education: a faculty composed of senior experts, effective international relations, a network of companies involved in studies and internships, an enriching community and cultural life.

 

As such, “Training-education” at ESLSCA Business School is comprehensive and is characterised by a broad “tronc commun” (set of core modules) in addition to specialist modules that reflect student preferences, all the while complying with company needs.

 

ESLSCA Business School graduates make good decision-makers, good negotiators, good strategists and good managers in the most modern sense: they do not limit themselves to solely managing existing resources – they take part in the creation of new opportunities for the development of their respective companies.

RANKINGS:

The Grande Ecole program of the ESLSCA Business School is ranked among the top 20 post-preparatory class programs by SMBG-Eduniversal in 2017 and is the winner of the Educational Trophy.

 

In 2016, ESLSCA was ranked within the top 10 European schools and the top 4 French schools with graduates paid more than 100,000 Euros per year: HEC, Les Mines, L’Ecole Polytechnique and the Eslsca Business School (emolument studies).

 

GRANDE ECOLE PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

To generate fine, broad skills with transversal competencies. To do so, lessons are divided into two major areas: fundamental and specialized courses.

 

WHO IS THE TRAINING FOR?

This course is for candidates who want to assimilate all management methodologies, develop their personal skills in a professional dimension and generate true professional expertise at an international scale.

 

PROGRAM

The so-called “Core program” is spread over the three years of study. Optional courses are available in parallel and during the final year.

 

The two first years of the Grande Ecole Program allow for a first cycle of general studies. The third year begins a second cycle of studies, corresponding to the period of specialization, among which the 6 major courses below can be chosen:

 

  • Major in International Marketing and Management
  • Major in Expertise Control
  • Major in Financial Markets
  • Major in Corporate Finance
  • Major in Economic Intelligence
  • Major in Organizational Management and Consulting

 

The Grande Ecole Program meets three objectives:

 

  • Provide initial training in management during the first year thanks to the acquisition of basic language skills and other methodologies.
  • Develop a deeper understanding during the second year and train students to acquire a synthetic approach of organizational management issues.
  • During the third year, to assist students in the development of their skills so that they may define and implement organizational policies using their technical knowledge acquired as part of optional courses, which allow for a quicker integration within any compay department. 

 

GRANDE ECOLE PROGRAM TEACHING METHOD:

In order to train entrepreneurial managers, ESLSCA Business School has implemented the Business Project since 1998. This class is divided into groups of 5 and, with the help of tutors and teachers over a two-year period, students create their project: sector study, legal environment, marketing plan and business plan. Finally, students publicly present their business project before a grand jury and teacher tutors. For some of these students, their business project has already become a reality.

 

Thanks for the Business Project, students have the competence to initiate and complete a professional project, which is an essential skill required by companies.

 

PARTNERSHIPS:

The ESLSCA Business School has several partner universities around the world, with which it also fosters educational exchanges. This mechanism allows for English-speaking professors to visit the school.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates have several entry routes to the Grande Ecole Program of ESLSCA Business School:

 

  • Admission based on classe préparatoire (foundation course) exam (1st year): open to candidates with a baccalauréat (high school diploma) having completed the preparatory cycle to top business education.

 

  • Parallel admissions based on exam results (1st and 2nd years): open to French or foreign candidates that have a 2, 3 to 4-year Undergraduate degree.

If you have obtained a minimum score of 400 on the GMAT or 300 on the TAGE-MAGE, you do not need to sit the written knowledge & logic test.

 

If you have obtained a minimum score of 80 on the TOEFL or 750 on the TOEIC, you do not need to sit the written English test.
