4-month work placement (88 days in a company) for the initial course
Program's objectives
Carry out management control missions and the different types of audits:
- Determine / analyze costs and organize budget management
- Structure the performance improvement tools (quality, costs, TBD)
- Master the tax regimes and tax optimization techniques for companies and consulting
- Master the ISAs and apply them as part of the accounting and financial audit
- Perform an IS Audit and assess its governance, environment and operational risks
- Perform a social and environmental audit
Teaching method
Our Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Engineering aims to give our students a balance between three pillars: finance, management and intellectual openness.
- Finance: there are fundamentals to know and master, there are deeper insights to apprehend, and above all there is a profession to understand and occupy;
- Management: our students will be managers, they must know the theory as well as the practice, they must know what constitutes a company (HR, marketing, strategy) to be able to develop it, finance it, add value to it;
- Intellectual Openness: With technology revolutionizing our organizations, our professions and our knowledge, we intend to give our students the tools to confront, anticipate and respond to new professions, new companies and new finance.

- Hold at least a Bac +4 (240 ECTS) from a business school or university in a scientific, economic, legal or commercial field, etc;

School Diploma preparing for the "Expert in financial markets and instruments" professional certification, registered with the RNCP on 16/12/2019, under number 34338 for a duration of 5 years and issued by the Ecole supérieure libre des sciences commerciales appliquées".

Evaluation methods
The study year is divided into two semesters, with the last week reserved for exams.
Grading conforms to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) standard promoted by the European Union. The assessment system complies with the 2024-2025 internal study regulations; the average grade for a course or module is used to assess the efforts made by each student, and to help them make the right academic and professional choices.
It includes elements of continuous assessment, the evaluation of various assignments and the grade obtained in semester tests.
Under the direction of the School Director, the school jury meets once a year to decide on the case of each student (passing, repeating, reorientation).
A student validates his or her year with 60 ECTS (i.e. 30 ECTS per semester) and an average of 10/20 per module, bearing in mind that 5 is an eliminatory mark for a course.
In addition, all pedagogical requirements must be met:
- Compulsory minimum 4-month MBA 2 internship with internship report
- MBA 2D final year dissertation
- Personal development (participation in school life)
Any student who fails to obtain an average of 10/20 in a module will be invited to the make-up session to retake the exams defined by the passing jury.
If a block is not validated after the make-up session, the student must repeat the year and does not retain the benefit of potentially validated blocks.
A second School Jury will be held after the catch-up session to decide on the case of each student: conditional passage for 2-year alternating students, repetition, reorientation, exclusion, gap year.

It is entirely possible to continue your studies after the MBA Finance spe. Financial Engineering, provided you have the necessary prerequisites, such as a thesis or another specialized MBA.
